As a professional singer/musician (keyboards and guitar) Joel David has worked clubs, theatre, cruise liner’s,
Thomson Hotel fly backs, masonic and golf functions, corporate banquets, and dinner/dances and
holiday parks. Although fully experienced in working ‘Cabaret/floorshow’ entertainment he has vast
experience as a self contained musician. He was the founding member of the Showgroup JUDE BROWN
in the 1980’s and worked extensively in major cabaret venues throughout Europe For most good agents.
When Jude Brown disbanded Joel became resident musician and singer in the Cameo Room at the
Dunkenhalgh Hotel playing for Saturday Dinner/Dance’s from 1985 till 1998, he then worked
The Foxfields Country Hotel in the ribble valley from 1998 until 2008 again for Saturday Dinner/Dances.
Throughout the years 2000 to 2006 he worked 5 nights per week for the Est Est Est restaurant group
(one night at each restaurant, Hale, Didsbury, Knutzford, Bury and Manchester City Centre).
He has worked several ‘seasons’ at the Parkhouse Hotel and at the Blackpool Hilton in a lounge style situation
and has an extensive vast & diverse repertoire tailoring it dependent on venue ie: Golf Dinner, Masonic,
Corporate, Holiday Park etc. Joel has the etiquette to converse with anyone and has played for very
high class functions ie: Carden Park Chester for the Football Association annual ball, (attended by all
Premier League Chairmen, Managers & wives). The Royal Yacht Britannia, ( guests included HRH Prince Charles,
HRH Princess Diana & Prime Minister John Major). The London Dorchester for a Grand Master’s Masonic
dinner attended by HRH Prince Michael of Kent). He can play 2 to 3 hours of classy cocktail and dinner music
incorporating classical music, latin jazz along with American songbook classics, modern dancing incorporating
a big band 1940’s Glen Miller set and disco anthem floor fillers
