Michelle’s showbiz career began at the tender age of 16 touring the globe and sailing the 7 seas as a high kicking dancer.Thanks to a very important gentleman. Prince charles & “the princes trust business award” saw potential in Michelle & believed in her idea of changing her career from a dancer to a singer and she won & was awarded a cash prize for to her buy anything she needed towards her new career.She has since been present to several functions with the royal family due to her work in relation with her great uncle receiving the victoria cross. Her career has brought her full circle only this time as headliner and star cabaret on board some of the worlds most luxury liners.”Silverseas,Seabourn,Princess, P&O,Holland America,Fred Olsen,Island cruises,Airtours, to name but a few”. When back in the uk she enjoys singing with many of Britains top big bands where she can indulge in her favorite music of the swing era. Michelle won many national dance awards throughout her career,but was even more successful by winning a major international music award which led to her recording original music in New York, London and Italy with world class producers. She has appeared in theatre shows and pantomimes with some of Britains best loved entertainers including,Joe Pasquale,Bruce Forsyth and Sir Norman Wisdom OBE ,the list is endless. She has worked on many BBC radio programmes as well as appearing on various tv programmes and tv adverts both at home and in Italy. In 2006 she circled the globe,travelling and working as far afield as Japan,Korea,China,South America,North America,Canada,Europe Africa,South Africa,Caribbean,North Cape, Mediterranean & the Baltics. 2007 was busy with trips to New Orleans, Australia and back again to Cape Town.Finding a bit of time to relax at home in Doncaster is much needed as trips were already planned for Greenland and Iceland later in the summer and even a couple of shows in sunny Blackpool. MICHELLE waS VERY PROUD TO HAVE BEEN ASKED TO SING AT THE BRAND NEW” KEEP MOAT STADIUM” BEING A DONCASTER GIRL HERSELF.BORN IN THORNE BUT NOW LIVING IN BAWTRY THIS IS THE MOST LOCAL GIG SHE’S EVER DONE AND PROBABLY THE BIGGEST AT A 15’300 CAPACITY CROWD. SHE SAID”I JUST WANT IT TO BE A GREAT NIGHT, DONCASTER ROVERS VS MAN U ,I WANT TO SING AND REALLY GET THE CROWD SINGING WITH ME AND ENJOYING THEMSELVES”. 2008 has been a busy year for world cruises on several liners and the rest of the year is sewn up going on at least another 10 ships before dec.Inbetween managing to fit in some one off shows at Warners and home for xmas.2009 has been spent yet again cruising mainly out of Miami but still finding time to do world cruise legs on the Royal &Tahitian princess.When back in the uk a couple of apperances on “Loose Women” in May were also great fun.2010 Started with a bang by doing her own show with her own big band and accompanied by her best friend and the uk’s most famous father with a famous son “Mr Pete Conway ,father of Robbie Williams.Several cruises & shows up & down the country.This year alone she has appeared with Mr Joe Longthorne,Frank Carson,Mick Miller Duncan Norvelle,billy Pearce etc etc & filmed for a new Tv series””. Back Stage Blackpool”Cruising on the inaugural year of Azura,her sister ship Ventura,the Star Princess & Aurora to Japan Australia.Performed in Blackpool Command& 2011 is already looking to be busier than ever .Also in the summer 2011 Michelle will be teaming up again with Pete Conway, Jonathan Wilkes & a 13 piece big band to do a Show.
May was a big thing for Michelle performing at the inauguration of P&O ‘s fabulous Adonia with Dame Shirley Bassey & The overtones. Also finding out she was mentioned several times in the new book about Norman Wisdom, Pitkins Pa.She is recording a new programme in August about variety entertainment for the uk entertainment channel.
