A sassy, versatile singer not to be missed!

 

 Roxi Richards has 10 years of experience in the industry. She began singing at a very young age, at her local labour club Sunday Karaokeand then began taking lessons at 14. Since then she has dabbled in every style of music she gets the opportunity to.

In 2009 she became known as ‘Roxi’ Richards and had worked with UK record label HouseJunkies, recording backing vocals alongside UK House diva Angie Brown and co-writing tracks. She also worked with Ruthless producer’s team Spartak doing vocals for some of their upcoming projects and session work. The demo track “Temperatures Risin” recorded earlier in 2009 is also being used in the U.S film soundtrack “L.A. Nights” (2011).

  Roxi attended Tech Music Schools 2010 in London and is has been preparing her break into the industry. During 2009-2010 she has appeared in two music videos “Something for the Weekend” (Stiff All Stars) and “Making the Tea” (Jack Jones), and has had various gigs around west London – including being chosen to perform her own arrangement of a ‘James Bond’ medley at the O2 Empire in Shepherds Bush.

In 2010-2011, Roxi was a member of a highly acclaimed blues/rock band called “Roadhouse”, who have been touring the world for over 20 years and have 11 albums. She did backing and lead vocals as part of a very dynamic team of musicians, signed to the Blues Matters record label.
